Charity show

This is the second charity event that i have helped out for, where i have been asked to dress backstage for a fashion show during the evening. The venue was just beautiful with big crystal chandeliers on the ceilings..the place was nice! But anyway, so i got to the venue at 4, and the show was not going to start till 8pm, but a lot of preparation needed before hand as you might know...the models with hair and make up, running order, what each model is going to where and change into for their next outfit, shoes..the lot!  (good it wasn't just me doing it all =.='')
Enuvie ~ Fashion designer
So the show's about to start, we're all getting hyped up about how its going to go and just waiting for the models to be changed into their next outfit. Last minute changes and decided that models were not going to have a 2nd outfit to wear, so each model is just going to wear one outfit for Enuvie's collection. The shoes were taking long to do as they had to be tight! (your foot placed onto a wooden platform, wrapped around with lace to create a shoe) and although the collection is amazing, some of the garments are quite difficult to put on e.g a top/dress with sleeves with the entire thing made out of chain-mail!!! And it wasn't light at all. WE were a couple minutes late to showcase the collection but all worth it in the end.

Michael and Angellica
So to the delights of getting the collection on stage, people were mingling around getting drinks, i turned around and saw Angellica and Michael! yes the TV presenters!!! | was also very surprised as my friend Enuvie knew them!

Angellica

 Overall my night was very enjoyable and i was laughing a lot by the end of the night! ^.^ Thank you Enuvie!!

LFW shows!

Another season with many great designers in London. My interning experience has been absolutely amazing, getting to work front of house during the event, greeting guests, designers, celebs, illustrators, sponsors, models, just a whole bunch of great and exciting people out there which i would probably would have not met if not decided to intern.

Throughout the whole week, i have seen numerous shows and seen many fabulous collection on the catwalk, my all time favourite designer of the week has to be Haiping Xie, having a very strong chinese theme throughout his collection, with the styles being very original and creative!

Some of his collection::

So what do you think of the garments in his collection? The bold prints and quality of fabric and designs of the garments look so luxurious and would definitely make you stand out from the crowd! LOVE IT!

So during the week i have been talking to designers (to try and get some internships) and have been quite successful in getting some emails and business cards as they have been very nice to talk to and seem very happy to take me on during my placement year next year which is great news!

i have taken so many pictures during the week and it would take me forever to upload them ALL up..i must have at least 800 pictures taken, but its all good for the eyes! So here are a few of my favourites::

A lot of pictures i know, but each garment is so beautiful (and so are the models =P)
